Celebrate Femslash

Welcome! Basically, we love femslash fic a lot and want to promote it and share it with the world. To make it easier to find, we're collecting the most recent additions of femslash works to AO3. To make this newsletter possible, and in an effort to not clutter up your Reading Lists too badly, we're working by some basic guidelines:


- Length: I love drabbles. But there are just way too many to be included in this newsletter. Only works of over 1000 words will be included.

- Language: Only stories written in English will be included. This is basically because of my own shortcomings. I can't know enough about a story (fandom/pairing/etc.) if I can't read the language. If someone who speaks another language would like to volunteer to comb through the AO3 listings and include those stories written in another language, I welcome it. Comment to this entry and I'd love to include them.

- Pairings: If the work has multiple pairings, it will only be included if the first pairing listed is a femslash pairing. And there must be a pairing listed for it to be included. Original characters and genderswapped characters will not be included.

- Fandoms: I want to include them all, really. But if I can't Google it and find out if it's Femslash, it won't be included. Feel free to educate me. No Original Fiction, though it is lovely.

- Schedule: Newsletter will be posted on the weekends, usually Sunday.

That's basically it for now. I'm making this up as I go along.
